I absolutely love scream. The originals fill me with a sense of such great nostaltia, thrill and excitement. This one just didn't, entire plot was hinting Stu's return. The aged mask, the killer countdown, the change of location. Would have been perfect. Film felt built up just for a disappointing reveal, ending felt rushed, didn't like who was behind the mask. Three killers is too much, was definitely over done. Felt they tried to make it a bit too modern, didn't do the great franchise justice.

I would say, the remake of the classic team was very good. However, the story and overall feeling of the film drifted too far from the original Scooby Doo atmosphere. Characters have potential, but the story needs to be more like the originals, a bad guy (or girl) disguised as a ghoul or mummy or whatever, using technology or every day things to trick everyone into thinking supernatural is real. Then later everyone finds out the truth... but overall it was alright...
