Makes a lot of sense. One of a few books that I have stuck with. Fear and anxiety are widespread in our society due to the pressures of modern life, so finding a tool such as 7% slower greatly helps by reminding oneself to calm down, even by the smallest degree. Also Drew says there are 2 ways to suffer, because suffering, like it or not is a given. By sitting with suffering is better than racing around trying to escape into activity is less effective. Staying with one's thoughts and feelings, no matter how painful, is infinitely better than running away from them. Nobody said it would be easy though !!
