The protagonists made the most dumb decisions throughout the whole film, like how the girl didn't call the police after seeing one of the strangers in the house. The boring parts of the movie were for build up, I think, but the end of the film is very boring and doesn't really have an interesting end for and cliff hanger for The Strangers: chapter 2 to show us when it comes out. I don't think another movie will come out though.
