Ben Whishaw and Ella Lily Hyland are worth watching in this.
Everyone else is either struggling to deliver authenticity or doing their best with a bad script. Sarah Lancashire is most hurt by the script as she seems to be permanently set to speak like you might imagine someone would when trying to brainstorm witty things to say and you keep coming up with open goals for the other person to give you, this isn’t the only problem her character has which sharply diminishes the presence of a menacing criminal mastermind, but it is the most distinct issue.
The plot and worldbuilding is complete rubbish.
The aesthetic can be good at times, the cinematography has its moments.
