I was around 13 when Piolo first came out doing shows on TV in the 90s. Ive had the biggest crush on him but none of his films really touched me. They werent convincing enough and I felt he was subdued honestly. I watched this movie and said HELL YEAH PIOLO! FINALLY. THE GREATEST. THE REALEST. You did it. The hairs on my skin did a standing ovation for him on this one. I felt his soul jump out of his heart and straight into mine. Seriously, his performance was natural. DEEP! And Alessandra was simply adorable, hilarious. She was brilliant. She owned this role. They both did such a wonderful job because not only did I shed tears the first time. I cried the second, 3rd, 4th time watching the movie. I was a complete disaster. It brought out emotions I once had and forgotten and emotions I never thought I had. Thank you Alessandra and congratulations on your directorial debut. And thank you Piolo for finally giving us your truest. Thank you for this gift of a movie. I haven't been back in Pinas for 9 years and it's just giving me all sorts of good memories of our country.
