The real reason for which India got Independence was INA and Netaji Bose and not Gandhiji , Gandhiji's actions had a minimal effect on the British Raj- It was said by the person who signed on the independence treaty CLEMENT ALTEE (then PM of Britain) in an interview with Bengal Governor and this was reported by BBC news. It was estimated that Hitler in his lifetime killed around 600000 people. But the British Raj killed around 1000000 people in an single event of the great bengal feminine. Imagine the number of killings during their rule for more than 200 years. They transferred all the food grains from Bengal to England to mitigate their war crises (world war 2). This event is also known as the infamous The Great Bengal Feminine. They killed us by not giving us food, i wonder what effect hunger strikes had on them ??
