Halfway through and I stopped to check reviews just to make sure it wasn’t me. How could the Editors have released such a travesty of poor writing. The characters aren’t recognizable from the previous books and the flow is disjointed. I can see where the story pitch had potential, but the execution is horrendous. It is a disservice to the loyal base of fans of the series.
