I usually watch crime action dramas so this is absolutely different from my usual kdrama genre to go. It is a slow quiet emotional one, however, because everyone can relate to the same topic, death. While death is a sad topic in everyone's life, we need to face it someday. Most people find it difficult to talk about it but let's be real, you can't run away from death. And for those who already lost someone, you need to be able to move on so this drama has some scenes that probably trigger a lot of sad memories and emotions. The first episode already pull. Me back when my dog need to be put to sleep. The vet said something very similar to what my sister said to me when I was crying and calling up my family to inform them about our family pet who loved with me. It all brings me back to that moment and oh well, hate to say this but it does makes me really upset but at the same time it's just because you know she's right. It was selfish to hang on to them for own wants while they are in pain. It's just 1 year ago, it still feels like it was few night ago. I love that this drama has storyline that hit close to our heart. And it actually brings some hope to ourselves that we could face death one day, in a less negative way.
On the side not, I think Ji Chang Wook and Sung Dong Il makes a perfect duo. And let's just appreciate that it all actors are willing to make diversified choices in the roles they are taking. He isn't acting for an award. He is choosing a story and a character that he wants to and felt close to. People need to move on adn respect his choices.
