This is a lesson on how not to adapt a classic. It falls short of other recent adaptations, including the modern day setting version with Gwyneth Paltrow. The addition of sex and bad language is just an indication of how low the series is aimed. The acting is very patchy with some of the cast seemingly reading the script from a page they have never seen before. Watch any other version than this one.
