Well, THIS movie didn't wallop me quite the same way it seems to many other people. But, then again, I'm no virgin to F’d up ultra-violent cinema. I've grown up watching flicks like Pieces, Make Them Die Slowly (Cannibal Ferox), Faces of Death, The Gore Gore Girls, Pink Flamingos, Female trouble, Maniac, New York Ripper, Eraserhead, Henry; portrait of a Serial killer, Blood Sucking Freaks and the sort. And THAT has no doubt sort of soothed the impact for me.Anyway, it is pretty over the top, with some pretty good gallows humor.

EERIE!! IMAGINATIVE!! BIZARRE!! MOODY!! INTELLIGENT!! SUSPENSEFUL!! Cult-classic fantasy about the disciple of a savage deity, which vomits firearms (the titular Zardoz), and his quest for truth.
