If you are the sort of person that needs jump scares for horrors to be good then this is not for you.
Sadly, this film is lost on most people and as such is criminally underrated. It is a slow, deeply uncomfortable burn.
The protagonist is clearly deeply mentally unwell. This is one of the best portrayals of psychosis I have ever seen.
