i wanted to like it so much bc i love the cast and i really appreciate that it centers around a black family without making that the focus of the movie, but the plot just got progressively sO MUCH worse and the characters just make stupider and more confusing decisions just to keep the movie going and it was literally hard to watch by the end. sorry eddie murphy love u fam
