42 years ago I saw Episode IV and was blown away, as was everyone. The Rise of Skywalker was a fitting end. Well done. Maybe the younger "woke" generations are critical of this movie because it analogizes the consolidation of power by the government, which they seem to support, and the common "deplorables" fighting back, most recently by electing Trump.
