Don't typically write movie reviews but I figure I might warn anyone reading this. After watching this "movie" I'd safely say that it was more like torture. The Matrix 4 is so much worse even compared to reloaded, they replaced and butchered most of the beloved returning characters and replaced them with a bunch of woke unlikable characters who's sole purpose is to appeal to a modern audience. What they've done with Agent Smith, Morpheus, and Niobe is a crime as they've completely recreated them to be unbearable and more boring shells of their former selves. The plot makes absolutely no sense most of the time either, for example how can't Neo fight back against the analyst at some points if the rules could be broken by him in the original movies, how can that blue haired woman have so much plot Armor at the beginning that she outlasts a barrage of bullets and multiple agents (prob for the modern audience, would've been better if she died then and there), why does Neo get instantly arrested after saving humanity (because Niobe as a character got completely destroyed and doesn't remember what Neo did ), why is the only two big moves the one can do is stopping bullets and force punch, how tf did Trinity become the one when it was mentioned in the lore that there's only a VERY small amount of people that can become it, why do they use 'bots' to swarm the characters and not agents. I could go on and on about how much of a mess this movie is, I went in with low expectations and somehow it ended up being worse than I expected. It's honestly funny and sad when you constantly see flashbacks of scenes from the older movies, really reminds you how terrible this one is compared to them. Won't be revisiting this movie in my life and neither should you. Anyone idiot preaching this movie hasn't seen the previous ones or has no standards when it comes to actual movies, watch only the first three movies as they are superior in every way compared to whatever this movie was because this is not the matrix. The series ended on revelations.
