I haven't watched this movie yet, but after reading some of the reviews I feel some positivity is needed. Although I have not watched the movie, I honestly look forward to despite all of the negativity because Mulan is such an amazing well-known story that I don't believe it could have been as messed up as easily as people claim. Additionally, I love the actress they chose to portray Mulan, she is beautiful, kind, and authentically herself and open in every way. I feel that many people are just upset over what she posted and because of this they have a negative outlook of her overall. Which then leads them to going into the theater expecting the movie to be awful because she is in it. And most of the time, when you expect the worst of something, you recieve the worst. Basically, what I am trying to say is if you want to see this movie, see it, and don't let somebody elses opinion ruin that. Just watch and decide for yourself if you love or hate it rather than letting someone else do it for you! :)
