The movie Mountainhead is not just disappointing, it’s a complete comical or even social discourse miss. First, I don’t think anyone outside the tech industry could follow the dialogue. Second, for those of us in the business, it sounds like it was written by ChatGPT - a bunch of words that are supposed to mean something but lack any real substance. At times it felt like the buzzword ipsum - and if that was the point, the team succeeded. Maybe they thought the situational comedy would carry the movie but it has to give Pineapple Express not the lesser Succession. I like movies with fumbling characters that seem to know what they are talking about but comically don’t - this is not it.
