A low point for the Forza brand in its current state. Multiplayer isn’t fit for purpose. The game crashes all the time as you’re about to start a race, and if you’re lucky enough to get into a race the penalty system is so broken that you get ridiculous penalties for when people intentionally drive into you on straights. Single player is dull and the user interface looks worse than Project Cars 2 which came out in 2017. I play on Series X and am always dealing with the game crashing as if the console can’t handle the game. The game was released a year too early, fortunately I play on Game Pass and only bought the premium upgrade for the extra cars, so I’m not too much out of pocket. Anyone that paid full price for the game will be fuming at how bad it is. It could be good though and once the casual players drop out the racing will clean up, so I do still have big hopes for this game eventually.
