I think, even if the show has some teething problems, I love watching it. I love that Hilary is more than a one-dimensional ditzy woman - I love that Jazz is more than someone who sexually harasses her. While the sitcom is special, some of the old jokes haven’t aged well, like all the fat jokes. This just feels like a healthy, updated version - I’m enjoying it. I love a good teen drama. I love that Carlton talks about his mental health. I love that Lisa is a real character with flesh and family background. Geoffrey is more than a sarcastic butler - he has his own problems and he is so suave! Hilary had always been my favourite in the original - but Coco Jones is smashing it even more in this show. So much love. :) Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that it can sometimes be a little bit cheesy. That being said, I just feel the show and the story is getting even better in season 2. Really excited to see what’s coming next! I really wish this show would be picked up for like a yearly arc. Like 24 episodes per season.
