Well made in every way. There have been so many remakes of this most famous Dickens story. The best of these adaptations tell the story as it was written. This version, masterfull performance by Jim Carey , music and visuals make this a wonderful choice for Christmas viewing. It stands alongside of some impressive company such as, the 1951 scrooge with Alastair Sim, the musical Albert Finny 1970 version and let's not forget the television offering which starred George C Scott. Yes this 2009 version is a wonderful retelling that even Dickens would be proud of.
