To tell the truth. I played the demo and hated it. I played it again and again and after 10 hours or so, I started liking it. It’s a solid attempt from the developers. A unique mechanic I noticed was that it has a special stamina bar called sync rate, analogous to stamina bar in other souls likes. Parry is similar to Elden Ring parry and dodge is step dodge when locked on an enemy. Overall the game is fun to play if you get the basics right

I'm disappointed with this game. I played like a few hours into this game and the only good thing out of this is the controls are really smooth. There are a ton of things wrong about this game. First the story, its just jumping between sci-fi & finction, thats it. The past releases has an aim and motive for the story and for the players to play. Secondly, this is completely a platforming game like Astrobot, and I hate platformers. I only played this game because I really liked it takes two which had cool meaningful boss fights, environmental puzzles, co-op boss fights. Split fiction is all platforming, jump there before time runs outs, do that before platform goes away. Seriously its 2025 and not 1990s.
