My Fave film still today, we need more films like this today, we lost something, NES is the most deep & emotional film I know, something this modern world lacks. NES taught the 'need' for compassion (also, towards that which is different from you, as all living beings are equal, just because they might look and act different from you does not make them bad or below you. Humans tend to suffer from Xenophobia etc, which is not right), beliefs, to have an awareness of everything no matter how uncomfortable it is as that is the only way to change things to make them better, to never give up when everything's against you... I'm Glad the new Dark Crystal series sees the need for 'real' film again. Anyone saying that film-classics like NES, Labyrinth, DCrystal etc are not for the modern day, have been conditioned to watch braindead rubbish which doesn't provoke thought and doesn't increase awareness, which is needed to create change for the better. Even if it means getting uncomfortable.
