Incredibly well-researched and well-written book with plenty of sardonic Rachel Maddow touches. Along with excellent insights into how the oil and gas business has corrupted politics worldwide while sowing environmental chaos, this book connects all the dots between the major players from the past right up to the present, including Putin, Trump, and Rex Tillerson (Trump’s former Secretary of State who happened to be the CEO of Exxon and had close ties to Putin). You will never think about this industry the same again.
