I’ve been with Fortnite ever since the third season back in 2018 and I cannot begin to express how happy I am to see this game thrive especially with its overall consistent update that has never disappointed in adding something new for everyone. Fortnite has evolved from a standard battle royal, into a central hub of numerous game modes that provide the player with a free to play experience (besides Save the World) and a diverse roster of games. Lego Fortnite is a collab that I never would’ve imagined but seeing how beautifully it was integrated, that’s what drove me to it alongside my passing for legos. As of now I’m in my third week with a maxed out based, weapons and all I have to say is this game will give you the best immersive sand box experience that completely dethrones Minecraft. Bold statement but I believe this game has the potential to dethrone a variety of sandboxes and that is due to the aesthetic, complexity and overall flow of the game. Everything feels natural, gameplay and music helps create an immersive experience and the gameplay is delightful and rewarding but not tedious. On my final notes I find it impressive how the game controls the flow by making the progression mandatory and actually forces the player to take advantage of the map’s resources, and for that reason I give the game points for creating a system that adds no wasted spaces to the map. Plus the map in this game is better so getting lost isn’t a haste and it shouldn’t.
