I bought this book a few weeks ago, as I’m a cat lover. Little did I know this book would bring emotions. I researched the author Caleb Carr and discovered he just passed away a week ago. I credit him for a book I’m thoroughly enjoying. He made sure it was published before he passed, Masha, his Siberian cat changed his life for the better as he to her. They both had a true bond. Some may not realize the intelligence of a feline but they connect when they meet their forever mate. Writing this book is the best thing he did. I respect him and his work. Wonderful book so far. I have no doubt it will be great till the end. Just a bit emotional as to the realization he’s gone with his beloved cat now. Is a must read.
