I watched this recently and I was incredibly impressed with it.
The amount of one stars rated is just sad as those people clearly haven't watched the 1922s version or haven't expanded the types of movies they've watched.
All the cast was spectacular and fitted into their roles extremely well. I was honestly surprised and a bit gutted that none of them got nominated for the Oscars. Bill Skarsgård was incredible; I mainly first wanted to watch this film as I've been a big fan of him, but he is amazing with the way he can shift into these characters and be completely unrecognisable. Lilly Rose-Depp and Nicholas Hoult was also incredible and watching this movie has given me so much respect for them. Aaron Tayler-Johnson, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, and Ralph Ineson were also outstanding, their dedication really made clear.
The movies details were also great, especially with the use of shadows, symbolism, and outfits.
I recommend this movie a lot and it is now one of my favourite movies. I hope that more people will appreciate it.
