The costumes and casting choices are excellent. The trailer mentions wanting to take the original ideas and make them "emotional." Translation: "we'll throw in a bunch of fighting and explosions." The books were really good; I wish they had stuck to the original storyline. But still nice to see this epic brought to the screen in some form, and some of the changes, such as the trio of emperors, are inspired.
