Best book for a child ever wrote!!! The illustrated art work of the beautiful pictures go along with the story beautifully!!! I bought this book at a scholastic book fair in my schools library when I was in the 2nd grade. That was 50 years ago, I still have my book.when I think back to my childhood as the memories start flooding by I always get my Ghost of Windy Hill book out and read it. Looking at the pictures of Jamie and Lorna and remembering the summer I sat on my front porch imagining what it must have been like being at that mysterious house on the hill and wishing I was there with them.
