I loved the book, but hated the movie. the movie left out scenes, tried to sum everything up, and rushed into the ending. the sheriff wasn't even fat like the book described him as. keep in mind I'm new to reading so I may not be as helpful as the bookvets but this is my opinion. the book is great but movie not so much
