So far, this series has been stellar. The acting is absolutely fantastic. I remember the case at the time. It was always a far-fetched theory that had no basis in actual fact, just innuendo. You don't accuse 2 people with no violent history of a heinous murder without real proof. This was all about vilifying a woman who is sexual.

All the charming elements of the animated version have been deliberately stripped out of this shockingly bad remake. It is also jaw-droppingly misogynistic despite being made 20 years later. It's hard to believe that anyone greenlit this project.
