Great characters but not sure who the producers hired as medical consultants. As an RN with over 40 years of critical care and trauma experience, I’m very disappointed in the lack of realistic and legal medical protocol as portrayed by the paramedics. Flat lining on the EKG during chest compressions; medics ordering their colleagues to give morphine to a patient and in inappropriate doses; medics performing surgery.. the list is endless. Lots of action and heartwarming storylines but they’ve got to get their medical consultants to do better!!!

Very intense characters, each highlighted in various episodes. Dark comedy. Need to find more informed medical consultant for the show. Just watched “Sophie” episode where Syd’s dad has a heart attack and Claire tells her “It was a first degree block”. Critical care RN here x 40 yrs. That’s not a type of “heart attack”..just sayin but then again that seems to be pervasive in most TV shows. Still love it.
