I have to admit, I don't watch many movies. But here is the thing, I found this movie with its many subplots, many of them illogical, unbelievable, irrelevant, drawn-out, self-indulgent subplots. Bane does not say much in the movie he is to say the least almost a mute and not very animated, not depicted with much depth, nor compassion, a 1 dimensional character really. Of good versus bad. It is an ordeal to get through this self-indulgent, shallow, unquestioning and drawn-out flick, and watch it from one end to other, it would of been terrible if I had paid to see it as I would have had to walk out early on. From some director who probably barely read one comic book. It is brain-watching in nature, a work of what is staunchly propagandist. With its staunchly nationalistic flavour, it is not hard to see how it got through the Chinese Censors, but they still they struggled to get the money back from the Chinese Cinemas. As somebody with a strong social, ethical, environmental conscience, it was just not my cup of tea. Celebrating wealth shamelessly, nationalistic patriotism, we don't learn the motivation behind why the characters do what they do. It contorts and alters things from the comics, not in the comics universe. Batman blows himself up in the end because of that old english named after Bane and their bomb to save Arkham or is it Gotham lol. I do not know what anyone would like about this movie. Keep in mind that its release coincided with America's nazi problem, and the far-right uprising to me its pure trash. Than other movies of Zack Snyder that take themselves so seriously that they are full of scary skeletons. For those who have not seen it I don't want to spoil it, but Bane does break Batman's back when Batman is falsely imprisoned if you did not work that out.
