This is an underrated music rhythm game easily overlooked on Switch - but worth a look, particularly on sale.
Its a shame really, because with a bit more ambition (time/money) this could have been quite something. Its four lane system is responsive and the motion flicks work well with controller or touch support.
Its almost certain that this game ended up being rushed or released early as the four lane system is pointless and simply corresponds to 'left' and 'right'. I imagine the original brief was to have a 2, 4 and 6 button layout but this got canned. Likewise while the 'flicks' work well the butterfly swirls (where you follow a swirl with your finger or analogue stick) just don't work so good - the speed can dramatically vary and it really breaks the motion of the game.
Visuals are quite good, the attractive models put on a good (and distracting) dance and the game/anime segments are fine. Note that the latter makes up the majority of the overall tracks. Other the songs themselves and the 5 difficulty options - there are no other modes/missions. Some unlockables, even something like bonus outfits or characters could have been a big plus here.
The music selection is limited as well, with only around 15 games in the base game (£12), and further DLC packs that take it up to around 45 tracks (£3 for every 4 tracks I think). However the game is frequently on sale (use DekuDeals to be notified when) and for just under £20, I would say its worth a go.
TLDR - Try the demo which includes four (of the best) songs, all the difficulty modes and so forth.
