The WovenMantis

I don't really understand what the goal of this movie was, to be honest. The visuals are... bad. Don't know if it was budget or time, but there's nothing worthwhile on that front. The story - fictional though it is - is comically incongruous with reality and for a reason I can't fathom, decides to depict one of the most heinous civilizations in history as heroic freedom fighters. The time period also means their options for animation are limited and most of the violence is uninspired. I think the icing on the cake is that this movie has truly nothing to do with Batman. You could remove the label and nothing would change. Probably for the better.
