I do not know how anyone can criticize this film. It is so rich in theme, dilemma and characters that transcend the one dimensional movies that have become the norm. It spotlights cultural, relational, identity and political realities in both subtle and profound ways. The genre - with its semi-musical approach may not appeal to some (myself included depending) but give this film a chance and you will be pleased you did! Best film I’ve seen in awhile!
