28 Days Later - Literally had you gripped from the main characters awakening to the final glimpses of his hopeful survival at the end.
28 Weeks later - Went more focused on how they contain it and maintained the pace highlighting again that the treat can come from both infected and non infected.
I am a massive fan of both these films - watch them several times a year.
28 Years later - So disappointed, hoped for more of the same pushing boundaries. No, it had several story arcs - non of which were fully reviewed and I left the movie wondering if I'd missed the point.
The point is, it drifted away from and convincing story line every few minutes.
Best part?.........the pop corn, after I'd finished that I was looking at my watch for it to end.
