Mediocre movie. Buzzword formulaic nonsense. The thing about performative wokeness in film is that it’s only ever a echo chamber of Instagram infographic banter. There’s no big stance or opinion to enable any provocative thoughts. Lacks risk, lacks intentionality. It is boring and remake. Takes the life out of film.

Girlboss villain fantasy? Where to begin… This wattpad girlboss film, is generic in the worse way and too unrealistic in the wrong way. While anti-hero protagonist are all the rage right now it was poorly executed in this film. Nothing worse than a mediocre movie attempting to connect with a marginalized group in an inorganic forced way. This film is a waste of money, talent, and energy. Just painfully plain. I won’t spoil it but even if I did it’s predictable and boring. The lines, the plot, the direction all generic. The actors are good but that’s about it.
