spoilers ahead ‼️ first time ever writing a review but this movie was just so… i don’t even know how to explain it. the only good part was the ending and the acting but everything else made absolutely no sense. all of the characters are honestly just stupid besides the serial killer. why would you write your password to fix your phone, go to a dingy place alone, trust some random stranger, etc, the list just goes on. especially with all the random coincidences it’s pretty obvious that they’re not coincidental. throughout the whole movie she’s so unafraid and confident and i get the thought process of making her not knowing he’s a serial killer but even if he was a rapist that’s still very scary and she would realistically be way more afraid than she was. another part was when she was in the fathers bathroom she could’ve just left and ran and contacted the police but instead she wanted to chase the man who obviously has an advantage. and the police as always take years to come. the policemen were stupid not only the main detective but also the assistant who didn’t want to tell her the truth nor expose the guy. why would you risk someone’s life for your own selfishness? not only that but also leave a known victim alone when you know there’s a psycho serial killer aiming for her. also, the father (main detective) could’ve just contacted his son if he was feeling so guilty about it. the serial killer btw had no motive which i somewhat understand because there doesn’t always need to be a motive but in this case it honestly didn’t make sense. he tried so hard to act like the original jun young so hard for no reason, because in the end it doesn’t matter realistically, only in the movie. if that makes sense. a lot of it was just plain stupid and made no sense at all. i get the whole message of cyber security but honestly all the characters were so stupid it hardly brings any point across besides the point that you should learn common sense. gonna be honest i’m being more harsh because it’s a k movie and i expect the plot to be less stupid like american movies but this is the first k movie that i’ve watched that lacked logic. save yourself the time honestly and watch call or forgotten.
