Truly one of the best miniseries created for the time period and it's unpredictable possibilities of chaos a human could face, while merely trying to survive. Add in the plot of searching for land and or bloodline, it reveals the frightful experience of disease and death. The beautiful viewing of open land, sets a perfect space for a seemingly unintentional love story. Executive producer Emily Blunt is stunning next to her stoic and talented costar, Chaske Spencer. Both giving us emotional reaches into our own souls, effortlessly. If you miss anything, this series can be watched multiple times and will still surprise, while continuing to entertain. Hoping for another season.
