I loved the book, it was suspenseful and creepy. But they changed, removed and added so much throughout the movie that was just stupid. The overall story was the same but the motivations and the general buy-in weren't there. I was excited to see it, but worried it wouldn't be good. And it was ok, but nothing worth talking about. Go read the book and skip the movie.
