This project has a lot of wit and potential. Definitely a labor of love worth streaming so the writers and animators can continue to unfold the saga of Velma Dinkley. Best part: This is a solid addition to the adult animated series watchlist!
I love that we're exploring one of the unsung heroes of the most iconic mystery solving teen group. Velma is sharp, flawed, and modern. Her "wokeness" does come off cringey, however, this is fitting to her characterization as a teen know-it-all who hasn't really found her footing as an activist/ally.
The reimagining of the rest of the gang is entertaining mostly because they made them more than their semi-one dimensional caricatures. The amount of inside jokes planted for the Scooby-Doo fandom is lovely as well.
