Listened to to audiobook version during a LONG cross country drive.
The prose and imagery were wonderful, the plot was underwhelming. Gaps in the narrative and unanswered questions. The end is overly simplistic and contrived. It’s hard to like or relate to any of the main protagonists.
Not worth the time and forget the Mario Puzo comparisons- not anywhere near the same league.
