7.5/10 (SPOILERS) the intro was kind of bad when jack black "aka steve" was telling how he got there and the nether and getting trapped and stuff because he simply laid out the entire beginning of the story for us instead of showing us what happened, just telling us by saying the names of stuff while he threw it around. but right after that it was amazing. my favorite part was when they were in the minecraft village and a pig wearing a crown walks by and steve says "thats not a pig its a legend" which is an awesome tribute to technoblade, rest in peace. after that it just kind of felt like a show, with the characters doing different things during different times. it was fine though because jack black was kind of funny sometimes. the visuals are amazing, and the villager talking to the lady is so funny and they get married. the saddest part of the movie is that we almost never got any charecter development with dawn "the lady with the zoo" and only on the others. steve had to help henry be creative, garret figured how to... be less full of himself, henry learned to fit in and adapt to his surronding, and natalie had to learn to be less overprotective of henry. also i think its nice that it is pg but they still have some dark stuff, such as the spiders and skeletons being creepy and the queen stabbing the little piglin. now i want to say my biggest complaint - it feels like two different movies. the first two acts are so good and funny and stuff, but the third act could have been better, since they just make a bunch of iron golems and the two girls just scream while the iron golems kill everything. the third act also lacks all jokes and funny stuff, very different from the first two acts. it was still good and i could have written a book about all my complaints and loves, but as a minecraft player it was much much better than i expected, especially with the surprise end credit scene which is awesome. the end.

this is terrible. it sounds like a good idea but it was executed terribly. it is inaccurate, edited terribly, and the only good part is the drama that she is a woman which was cool to include in a WW2 movie, but let me get this straight: the baby didnt cry once during the entire takeoff of the plane, didnt mind when the gremlin was hovering over it, only cried when the japanese ships hit the wing or whatever. speaking of, why did it take like a whole day for the japanese ships to hit the plane? why is it sunset and then suddenly noon? why and how did that lady not die when she got blasted fifty feet into the air? why was there studio lighting in broad daylight? carry on was good because it had good action scenes, even though it was inaccurate (plus the acting was really good) but this movie, the acting was just... ok. also eighty percent of the movie is her siting in that cockpit and breaking her finger, nineteen percent is dialogue (which is just swear words) and one percent is that awesome monster. the reason this isnt zero stars is because the baby is cute and the monster is cool 1/5
