I have no idea why half the reviews are AI-generated like, bruh. Are you really that incapable of writing three lines? But I'll go off and say my piece now.

Frankly, from a reader's perspective (I've finished the novel) this is another case of a truly shitty adaptation, and I say shitty because I don't want to use harsher words. You can't even call this an adaptation, it just has it's own theme and plot and the whole thing ends with a goddamn boss fight in the Chungmuro Station arc itself. Calling it ORV is an absolute disgrace to the original work. From Cheon Inho's sole 'Incite' skill being transformed into some Walmart Hulk-edition skill, Kim Dokja's complete personality reversal, terrible CGI and what not.
AND LET'S NOT START WITH THE FACT THAT KIM DOKJA ISN'T EVEN A PROPHET. AND THE LACK OF A FOURTH WALL AND THE OMNISCIENT READER'S VIEWPOINT SKILLS. Like bruh that was the main core plot point of the story and you REMOVED it ðŸ˜. SO MUCH MISCHARACTERIZATION EVERYWHERE.
And from a completely un-biased, non-reader, view. It's still pretty shit, I might have up the rating to two stars if I hadn't read the original work solely for the cast. The movie in short, is really strained and tiring. Even the acting's pretty mid ngl. Like they're trying to pull something grand off and failing miserably every single time. Even if it didn't follow the plot in anyway shape or form, going into this movie completely blind would still be a disappointment. It has this whole "Let's win by the power of friendship!" kinda vibe.
It was almost as if this was run by six people and a glitchy Google Doc where nobody read and/or gave a shit about the source material.
