The movie was… okay. Not horrible, but definitely not wow.
It deserves:
One star for the actors – they did a really good job, and the characters were funny.
One star for the meaning – the message about following your passions and doing anything you set your mind to was actually beautiful.
And one star for the nostalgia… plus the Technoblade reference (that hit).
3 stars might feel like a lot, but for a younger audience – kids, teens, or new-gen players – it’s decent.
Now for the meh parts:
The story wasn’t interesting. It was all super predictable. They had a huge chance to take the Minecraft lore – like Steve’s journey – to a whole other level, but they didn’t.
Also… the girl characters were honestly kinda embarrassing compared to the three guys. Which sucks, because they had so much potential but ended up being kinda useless in the plot.
And honestly, Minecraft is way more than what they showed. I expected more mobs, more world-building, more of that magic the game gives you.
