A heartwarming movie that I I wish everyone watch. I cried like a baby watching this movie and I was so moved by the bond between the professor and hachi in this movie. As much as it's based on a true story it also explores the love and loyalty of dogs in general. Every dog has a unique personality Sure all dogs won't be like hachi but nevertheless the love is a real thing. I have a dog myself and it's just heartbreaking to see them age like hachi does in the movie. But their love will not age or wither. That is the ultimate takeaway from this movie. Also reminds us to be kind towards animals and also that dogs will be man's best friend no matter what across all times.

A great movie to watch that portrays a real family. I am so glad this movie was made because it is not common that one finds such brilliant depiction of a middle class family set up.ir is very relatable Even though the movie might seem to be outright comedy it also throws light on some valuable lessons. The attitude of and towards the elderly are meticulously knitted into the plotline. I felt overwhelmed at the subtlety of the movie in bringing out the various nuances of a regular family in Kerala. It also embarks on some great lessons to takeaway like how the elderly has to be loved and space be given to them rather than them being pushed over by the others. The actual depiction of Varanasi as it without too many effects and beautification is also something I really liked. Kudos to the makers
