Very dark, funny and engaging. Every chapter leaves you wanting to read on. It took me a while to get used to Atwood's plain colloquial style, but it adds to the humour and mundaneness of the settings and the simplicity and desperation of the characters. The dystopia is frighteningly believable and the novel explorers many relevant themes like identity, desire, greed, freedom, willpower under authoritarianism, and much more.
