I'm an Army veteran and an avid critic of military movies. I am not a fan of Chris Pratt. I would not have picked him to play such a role based on other actors which have a stronger presence on and off camera. However, watching this TV series and how he engages all aspects of what I personally know as a soldier dealing with mental issues, seeing other soldiers deal with trauma, and other issues, Mr. Pratt has won me over. Perhaps it is because of how Mr. Pratt does conduct his personal life, such as admitting his flaws, retracting his negative comment when deemed necessary, or maybe it is his human connection to his personal family life. Whatever it is, Mr. Pratt has connected to his role. He has left his mark alongside men whom have raised the bar such as Matt Damon, and Gerard Butler to name just two.
