I got a Ps4 a bit while back. I only bought one game, which was a racing one. I was bored. Really bored. My friend gave me this angel of a game for my birthday. When I popped the disc in and the game was starting up, I could tell that The Sims 4 would be my saviour. Let me tell you a bit about the game. There are 3 main parts: CAS (Create A Sim), Build Mode, & Live Mode. CAS is basically creating your character(s). You can edit every single aspect of them. In fact, you can click and drag on the Sim (the character) and sculpt them. You can also edit their relationships with others, choose how old they are, choose how they walk & talk, and even choose their traits & aspiration. Build mode is your ultimate, well, building game. I know some people that just play the game just for build mode. You can build houses, furnish them, and edit every single detail of them. Live mode is living out your Sims' life. You are in control of pretty much every single thing that happens. As far as the game being kid-friendly, it definitely is. I first picked up The Sims when I was 11, and played with my 5 & 6-year-old siblings. I definitely recommend this game, after all of the happy hours of Simming I've had.
