The final 90 minutes of this movie is brilliant and depicts the passion as closely as any film in the modern era. The acting is incredible and there are several scenes that are outer-worldly. The scene when Jesus meets with Pilate the 2nd time is perhaps the most powerful in movie history. And the scene when Jesus is taken off the cross with his grieving mother Mary is as sad of scene as you will ever see. The film is old, but it still holds a ton of value. The music and acting is superb. Robert Powell represent Jesus of Nazareth forever in my mind.
