SPOILER: Terrible depiction of what actually happens. I understand having limited time to portray everything in the book but they either rushed to give information that should have you figuring out as you go along, leave out key parts, or flip flop the script. You are supposed to believe that Snow actually had a heart once until he became the person we all see decades later. The relationship with Lucy was awkwardly forced, no actual love connection, and he actually cared about Sejanus even though he kept having to save him. He knew Sejanus was going to die before he showed up for the hanging and didn’t know he passed his test to go to district 2 until the morning he was going to run away with Lucy. Also, they left out Pluribus who is the one to let Snow know that Highbottom and his father were actually friends once and where Snow gave the idea to Lucy to borrow a guitar for a performance to get sponsors for the game. The majority of the actual quarrel was inaccurate as well. There was barely any highlight of why WHITE roses mean so much to him all the years later/where it originated from as well. I can go on and on how terribly depicted this movie was compared to how incredibly Collins wrote it.. I am overall very disappointed and think this should be redone to be far more accurate.
